by CJ The Tall Poet
Standard cotton candy flavors
What will you conjure for me
Perhaps translucent memories
That would remove the depression entirely
Experiencing minuscule relocation envy
Usually after three pathetic bites
That provided plenty of misery
It’s comparable to random growing pain
Benefits are there but they’re not fully developed
My achievements were anchored by shyness
Now gothic fashion formed a grip
Trying to direct kindness toward my flatness
Will be a constant struggle
