to get it right, tick off
every item jotted down on
a never-ending list.
Hello, disdain for change,
living uncomfortably
with not knowing

Hello, fear of a future day’s regret.
To circle back around,
regret for not getting it right.
Hello, acceptance.
Hello, allowing.
Hello, trust.
