A Rage of Not Knowing

It’s right there

It’s right there

It’s just right there

Frying the fascia

Silhouettes of two people face each other amid swirling red and orange smoke, creating a dramatic and intense atmosphere.

Sizzling the skin

Emerging through pores

Temperature soaring

Eyes solid black

About to burst free and blind

Everything and everyone

Me

ITSJUSTRIGHTHERRRRRRRRRRRE

The last chain of restraint given way

Final query of substance now answered

No one knew the truth, no one knew the depth

Now, no one knows

Pure, satisfying rage, moist and warm

A last awakening

A fleeting moment

Of fear and anguish thought only possible

In nightmares.

Not even I would know

What everyone ran from

Me

As the rage blossomed, unadulterated by right or wrong

Manners or construct or decorum

And sincerely, naturally fulfilled, culminated

To total destruction, so pristine

And a new beginning

Then quiet…
